Please email me to let me know you are doing this, though, and credit me with the previous chapters "How may I serve you, Sir?" Skinner stammered on his response, his eyes narrowing on the young man bowing at his feet. Sighing softly, he hunkered down to Krycek's level. "Alex." Krycek cringed, his teeth ripping at the corner of his lip. Now. Now he's going to.. His eyes closed against the inevitability of what haunted his thoughts. Retreating deeper into that dark place he fled to when things got to emotional, too dangerous, he wondered idly if it was rape if you lie down and offer up your ass even when the very idea of it makes your skin crawl and your mind seek refuge in the darkness inside your skull. "Please..." "Alex." Skinner tilted his head, watching the trembling man. "Look at me, boy." Another shudder wracked Krycek's body, but this time he kneeled up, his gaze coming to rest on Skinner's. He swallowed hard, his eyes willing Skinner to, 'Say it. Just say it and get it over with.' "You may serve me, Alex," Skinner watched the panic flooding Krycek's eyes, and offered an encouraging smile. "You can best serve me by talking to me." A disbelieving scowl ghosted across Krycek's hollowed features, quickly masked with tightly monitored calm. "Talk...to you, Sir?" Skinner chuckled, shaking his head. "You didn't think I'd let you go back to the silent treatment, now did you? Now that I know you can still speak." Krycek's lips pursed and his brows drew lower over his eyes. It made no sense. He'd been beaten severely for speaking, now this man was asking him to....Unless... Krycek turned his head in Walter's palm and pressed a kiss there. "You are so beautiful, Sir. So perfect," he murmured into a sigh, leaning closer to kiss Walter's neck. "Smell so good." He licked and sucked at the crook of Walter's neck, running his hands over the older man's impressive chest. "Gonna make me feel so good, I can tell." Skinner finally brought his mind back online and grabbed Krycek's forearms, pushing him away. "What the hell are you doing?" he snarled. The color fled Krycek's features, leaving him washed out and shaking. "I...I...thought..." "What?" Skinner asked trapping Krycek's face between gentle hands. "What are you thinking?" Krycek wanted to pinch his lips together with his hands but the look in Skinner's eyes, so warm and inviting, "I... Skinner sighed, ruffling Krycek's limp hair. "Come on, boy. Talk to me. And I don't mean pillow talk. I want to know what's happening in here." He tapped a finger against Krycek's forehead. "Spill, boy. Whatever's on your mind." he gave a crooked smile. "Talk to me, Alex." Krycek blinked, his lips moving for a long moment before the words actually came. "I... can't remember the last time someone asked me to.... talk to them." he whispered softly. "Not play lip service, but really talk." His gaze wavered, darting away, then stabbing back. "Why did you stop me?" "From killing yourself?" Skinner held his curious gaze, saying, "Why do you think?" A sigh whispered between them. "You have not finished with me. You want revenge on whatever I have done to you and your friends." He smiled tremulously. "I am ready." "And just exactly what do you think I intend to do with you, boy?" Skinner asked gruffly. Krycek ducked his head, but not before Walter saw the blush bloom over his pallid cheeks. "Alex?" Skinner said softly. "What do you think I want to do with you?" A sigh escaped him and he whispered. "Most want to fuck me, sir. Or...I have a high threshold for pain. The masters...trained me well." "And that is what you think I want to do. Fuck you? Mistreat you?" Krycek's skin went several shades lighter. "I do not ...know. I...have some small memory of your face. Of doing evil things to you." He bit his lower lip to still the quiver there. "Vengeance is...healing, the masters told me." "Has anything I've done since bringing you here led you to believe I require revenge?" Krycek met his eyes. "You have commanded me to live." Skinner pursed his lips thoughtfully. "And you think I want you alive to punish you?" Alex' gaze moved to the wall, keeping his silence. "Is that what you think, Alex?" He shrugged. "Words, Boy. Talk to me." "I...Sir, I have a vague memory of you. I...know I must have injured you... because that is what I did in the before life. I hurt people. But I was captured, was punished for my crimes against mankind by having my life...erased. By being given to those I harmed for...revenge. Surely you know that is how criminals are dealt with. You're an enforcer." end part 2 -- PEJA The MB Archive http://www.squidge.org/peja/cgi-bin/index.php invites you to expand your reader base by uploading to the site or posing direct submissions to the makebelievearchive at gmail.com Betas register your services on the MB site thru Your Account page. The knife just sort of...slipped. At least that was the story he was sticking to if on the off chance someone decided to stick their head in and check on how he was doing, not that he expected that to happen. Only one who even bothered to check on him once in the blue moon was Logan. Besides, even if someone decided he was worth the effort, even if he got the chance to tell his side, he doubted that many of the team of infamous mutants would believe it had been an accident. Maybe he didn't even believe it himself if he was honest with himself. He'd taken to sliding into a warm bath with the dangerously beautiful little stiletto and taking long leisurely strokes at his body for so long he supposed he could have wanted to die, but had been afraid. Until now. Sighing weakly he wondered if it had been in his mind all this time that maybe he would get lucky one of these times. That just maybe, if he wasn't careful enough, wasn't paying close enough attention, the knife would cut too deep, would sever too severely. Ah, what matter that he die, hey? None would miss him, not even his beloved sister of the soul, Ororo. Well, her maybe a little, but even she had turned away from him after.. He breathed a sad little chuckle. What matter, now, when death waited so close? The past is in the past. The future, not worth worrying about. His pain was too alive in him. He smiled, his soul danced for joy with approaching death in his minds eye and he mentally reached out to join that gay union. What matter? He'd been locking himself down here in the boathouse for so long he figured no one would even bat an eye when they found his lifeless body slumped over in the icy bath. His red eyed stare narrowed now, watching the blood swirl in the water, forming strange little pictures in his mind. There, that swirl was Nightcrawler's spooky black, well it wasn't black seeing as how it was formed of water and blood, but still.. furred features. And floating down near his feet...he giggled as he picked out the ruby red bunny face peering back at him. He shook off the insanity floating though his thoughts and considered how he had gotten himself to this point. Contemplated the loneliness of exile since coming back to the mansion after being abandoned in the frozen depthes of Antartica. But soon that loneliness would end He would be free of this nightmare of rejection that had become his life. He would.... His body slipped lower in the water, so low it lapped at his upper lip. A liquid kiss from a fluid lover. His only lover... A vision of Logan flitted through his mind and with it, the wistful thought...if only... Stupid desires...as if Logan would ever... With a soft sigh of acceptance, he slid lower, his head submerged with only the wild waves of his dark hair floating about to mark his way. end? Does he live? I've taken some liberties, here. I know it should be fruit and flowers, not ribbons, but damn...I like the ribbons visual Hercules paused, his eyes drawn to the man dancing with the other celebrating men and woman...mainly women. His body, stripped to a simple loin cloth, glistened in the sun from his unending efforts to match the supple dancers who moved in sync with him. His laughter was like a song, rising and falling among the sweet voiced giggles and outright barks of delight as the dancers swayed and twisted, never loosing their hold on the colored ribbons that looped down from the tall, cypress maypole. A sudden surge of desire swept over Hercules as their eyes met, caressed, then Iolaus' gaze moved on and he broke from the dancers, his body moving in a sensuous glide in Hercules' direction. He could almost believe the other man was swaying toward him, Almost...Until he slinked past and fell into the open arms of the man who professed his undying love to Iolaus. Hercules' blue eyes narrowed and for a brief moment he understood what drove his half brother Ares to the madness of war. That man could have been, should have been him. And watching Iolaus with his beloved, Hercules could cheerfully have throttled the wiley thief, Autolycus. the rage rose up, threatening to choke him when Autolycus drew Iolaus tighter into his embrace and his lips claimed lips that Hercules wanted for himself. Lips at drove him to distraction. Lips he could never taste. He'd had his chance and like any fool, had turned his back on that chance. Hercules had no chioce now. He swallow the dreams of that might have been if he hadn't been so afraid. If he hadn't refused Iolaus when he had approached him so many months ago. His life would have been so different if he had been the one to see the gem in the sturdy little body, but he'd been afraid and what might have been moved on, leaving him behind. But like every midsummer dream, he'd had the chance to accept what might have been. No more, though. The chance was gone, never to return.
