Part 1
by PEJA

He was supposed to have reported in 24 hours before. No one had been really concerned at first. he was on vacation. Something he did only when he was to the point of burning out, so Waverly had made a tiny mental note of the irregularity and given it a pass.

As the hours had passed and no contact had been forth-coming, though, Waverly's concerns grew, stoked by the knowledge of his agent. One hour, okay, two, well, maybe...but 24...Something was not right.

Twenty-four hours...the stats said his chances were dwindling fast. If he was missing by person or persons unknown...Better if he had simply been ...Misplaced.

Waverly prefered tothink he was misplaced.

He also took the steps to bring up a full-scale search for his....misplaced agent.

And the devil take him if he was simply to drunk or ....entertained...to check in.

Part 2
by neichan

Ilya sat on the wall holding the sand back from the boardwalk. His hair was bleached golden in the sun, long and flyaway, whipping softly around his head.

That was the image in Napoleon's mind when he woke. Ilya, his partner was gone. Waveryly had told him yesterday that his partner had missed a check in. A twenty hour search had yielded nothing, no clues. He had just vanished.

Napoleon had never wanted a partner. He'd thought it would change his success to have to watch out for someone else. He'd thought it would slow him down. But Ilya Kuryakin had proved him wrong. Solo could admit it when he was wrong. He had a vast ego, to be sure, but he wasn't prone to deluding himself. With Ilya he was...more. Better.

Not even learning that Kuryakin was homosexual had changed his mind. Solo wasn't often compelled to look at anyone who wasn't a female when he was looking for beauty. But he knew Ilya was beautiful. He wasn't blind. And gay or not, Ilya was his partner, had saved his skin on numerous occassions. So while he might have had trouble accepting any other man with such deviances, he accepted Ilya as just Ilya. His being gay didn't matter.

Mr Waverly the head of NY UNCLE had been unequivocal in his instructions to his agents. They needed all kinds if UNCLE was to win the global war against THRUSH. That included homosexuals, Jews, Muslims, Lesbians, even an occasional anarchist. Anyone who didn't find themselves able to tolerate others with alternative views could ask for a transfer. He expected no waves, no complaints, just obediance. And he got it.

So Ilya had been open about his preferences. He'd let Napoleon know the first day they'd been paired, and proceeded to carry the Affair and the shocked Napoleon with it, to a successful conclusion. Napoleon had quickly adapted when he heard nothing more about Ilya's chosen sexuality. It wasn't a topic of conversation. Ilya didn't shove it in his face, nor proposition him, nor flaunt it. Napoleon didn't know his lovers, or even if he had them.

To be honest if trouble could be said to come from anywhere, it was from Napoleon's lovers. Brief though his romantic liaisons were, they always seemed to cause disruption. The women pursuing him even when he so gently tried to let them know the relationship was over. From his point of view. One of the women had accused him of being in love with his partner. Napoleon laughed. She was gone within a week, discharged quietly from UNCLE NY. Mr Waverly had ears everywhere, and he considered one warning on intolerance sufficient.

Now Ilya had disappeared. Napoleon was worried. Had THRUSH taken him? If that were the case why had no leaks let them know? If it was because of personal problems, then Napoleon should know. The guilt overwhelmed him. He had avoided finding out about Ilya's romances. He hadn't wanted to know. So he couldn't swear that had nothing to do with the disappearance. He recalled the glimmer of disappointment in Mr Waverly's eyes when he revealed he didn't know any of Ilya's
paramours, that he couldn't offer UNCLE a starting point to search for the missing agent.

He got up out of bed. He felt rested, his body strong, in shape, ready for action. Recoverd from the pummeling it had endured in the last Affair only last week. Now the only task he had was to find Ilya and recover him. NO matter what it took. Ilya was his partner. Aside from Mr Waverly, no one was more important. And that said it all.

Part 3
by PEJA

Illya Kuryakin dragged his sluggish body to waking, but the effort left him drained. to tired to do anything else, he sprawled on the bed, panting and trying to slow his breathing. To regain a small measure of strength

When he could finally draw a normal breath he slitted his eyes open, checking his surroundings as discreetly as he could.

If was not enough.

"Finally awake, Pet?"

The voice was familiar. Frighteningly familiar. And set his skin to crawling.

His arms numb and uncoordinated, he struggled to turn himself onto his back.

His captor took pity on him and rolled him over. "Miss me, lover?" He asked, stroking Illya's cheek with the back of his hand.

Illya flinched away from the caress.

"Ah, yes, you do remember me, Pet." the beautiful dark haired man said softly. "Its been too long since I last flayed your lovely skin with the lash. do you anticipate it as much as I do? Are you eager to have me discipline you for running away? To have me sink my throbbing cock into your pain heated ass?" he chuckled, leaning over to press an undesired kiss on Illya's pale lips. "I've missed you so very much, my precious love." he sighed against Illya's cheek. "So very much."

***

part 4
by nei

Illya felt his skin crawl. It took him less time to recognize the woman than it had the man. She was...or rather had been his partner's most recent lover. She had lasted a fraction longer than most, perhaps two months. then she was gone from Solo's everyday life, just like all the others. Illya hadn't given her another thought. But now it was sadly apparent he should have.

She bent down, her beautiful blue eyes filled with spite and hatred. Her voice purred out over him. He fought not to react.

"Imagine my surprise when I met someone else who shared my conviction that you have been taking up far too much of Agent Solo's time and energy." She started, her teeth bared at him in what he thought was meant to be a smile. She looked like a badger ready to strike. "Napoleon is not a man for men like you. So, Paul and I, "she glanced in the direction of the man Illya had hoped never to see again outside of a jail with bars between them. "...knew it was best if we took
control of the situation. This way we both get what we want. He gets you...and I..." She preened. "I get Napoleon."

Illya knew Napoleon would not be interested in the woman. His partner wooed, seduced and bedded his ladies, then discarded them. Like clockwork. It was a regular problem. Being partnered with Napoleon for less than one year he could count no less than a dozen women who had caused minor problems for UNCLE. Some had been more than minor of course, and at least two had resulted in Mr Waverley's intervention. The leader of UNCLE NY had not been well pleased at the need. He'd had harsh words with his senior field agent.

Mr Waverley was not going to be happy with this event either. Once or if it was discovered how it came about. Paul Fontaine was not an Agent of THRUSH, nor a former lover of Illya. He was a man Illya had picked up in the course of an Affair, on orders. A honey trap. A man, who once the Affair had concluded, did not want to be cast aside. But, as Illya had slept with the man, he was afraid that in Mr Waverley's book, he would be classified as a lover when it came to the controller
handing down blame. Illya did not look forward to having that conversation.

But first things first. He had to get out of this situation before he could endure the dressing down that was waiting for him.
