These pictures here were taken at the dead dog for AX 99 by Brant Pellett.
One ofthe things about the art show panels - or art show flats - is that these, in particular, were designed to take a beating. They were, quite frankly, extremely durable - 2x2 frames with 1/4" peg board nailed to them. The side effect, of course, was the weight - all of these flats were extremely heavy. It's questionable, as well, as to whether they were designed to actually be manipulated in any way by humans - especially because there was somebody, every hear, who was injured in some way by them. (Thankfully, nothing, to the best of my knowledge, actually required a trip to the emergency room.)
The complete destruction of these was later taken care of in the form of a bonfire and general breaking apart of the flats. Even then, soembody was hurt.
I'm convinced that they were cursed somehow.
