Sometimes, a marriage goes on for a while.
This one has been going for 25 years.
I met these two...well, at this event. Mandi has been running vending for years, and I worked with her starting when I volunteered for Mythicworlds (at that time, Faeriecon West) in 2013. I met Joe later on - in 2015 or 2016, if memory serves - and wound up working with him in Faerieworlds Ops team in 2017, which to me feels more like home as far as departments go.
(Sorry, Mandi. Nothing personal. Oh, hell, you know - I can't handle vending at FW. =) )
The long and short is that they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at Faerieworlds for this year. There were, naturally, shenanigans to be had. Here's my archive of said shenanigans.
