Tucked away here in Kirkland, near the shores of Lake Washington, is Juanita Beach Park, within a fairly close throw of bus routes - in fact, it's also remarkably close to both busses that I can get near my home.
In July of 2008, a couple of friends - Derrek and Rebekah - and I spent the day together. We didn't get much in the way of shots as we were out and about, but these shots were from toward the end of the day, probably around 6:30 PM or thenabouts. The location is a landscaped area toward the front of the park, near the street.
This area no longer exists as it once did. The park was shut down in 2010 for a remodel, to be opened up the next summer. For the most part, what you see here in these photographs is long gone, regretfully.
In this case, I'm not captioning the images - they pretty much speak for themselves.
