Coming onto the beach
The hill you see in the background is the southern end of Catalina Island. South of that, if you can make it out, is San Clemente Island.

On my last day in California, I had gone to visit this place here on the water, a point where the mainland ends and starts off into territory where there may reside dragons. Or, at least, there's Catalina Island.
I've done a shoot of this area in the past, but it was in the downtown area. This does something else, at least on the water's edge.
