This was the first year of the current incarnation of the renaissance faire here in the greater Seattle area. Two years prior, they were in Gig Harbor, and in 2008, they had planned to run from an undeveloped piece of land in Belfair - which, for many reasons, fell through. Suffice it to say, this was a good first run, and it was here that I started a tradition of celebrating my birthday at faire. |
