[Makebelieve] Writing Exercize: writing life experience

okay guys, here it is, I'm going to post the excersize challenges for
creativeWriters_101 on the rest of the lists as well. if you would like join
us on that list and delve deeper into writing techneques you can find the
list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CreativeWriting_101

One way authors get inspired to write is when something clicks in a normal
day to day occurance. A life experience, if you will. Your challenge is to
place your characters (original or fandom) in a common setting and build a
special moment.

Example:
going to the dentist
sitting at a bus stop
a trip to the store
a private moment at church
an unexpected pregnancy

Ask yourself:
Why is your character there
How is this time different from usual
(Give them some sort of conflict)
How is the situation resolved

Be sure to make use of
emotion
senses (taste, smell, sight, touch, hearing)
pay attention to the scene

okay that's it. Remember, these are only suggestions. If something else
touches your muse, go for it.

no time limit but try to give 15-20 minutes, you can do as many scenes as
you would like for this exercize,
