The vision of submission Skinner had witnessed on the video sent to his
office had appeared calm. Almost mindless in his submission. That man...
slave... thrall... That Krycek had been a man without emotion. A china doll,
alive, pale...beautiful... but withdrawn to the abuse rained down on him.

As was the man kneeling before him. To the casual eye, Krycek was that
self-same vision of absolute submissive serenity, but Walter Skinner was
ever the cautious man. A man who took little, if anything on the value of
face, a man who bothered to look closer, past the illusion. Past the lie.

On closer observation, Walter's gaze could trace the scars, not so obvious
before, but now, with the color flushed away on little feet of fear, the
truth screamed loud and clear. Walter picked over and cataloged each
stabbing, each stubbed out cigarette burn, each jagged lash from whatever
instrument of brutality was at hand of his sadistic owners.

The reality painted on human flesh blurred Walter's vision a bright enraged
scarlet and his lips parted n a dangerous, curling growl.

Krycek cringed in on himself.

"Oh no, son. Don't be afraid. I'm not angry with you." Walter pulled the man
into his arms again. It shook him to the core, feeling the tremors that
poured in wave after endless wave over the thin form. He murmured nonsense
words, rocking Krycek gently until the tremors dissolved in a weary sigh.
"If you really want to stay," He whispered agaisnt the exhausted thrall.
"Then that's what you'll do. Okay?"

Krycek nodded against chest, his fingers tangling in Skinner's shirt as if
he would never let go.

"Hey, boy, it's okay now. Everything will be alright."

The touch of Kyrcek's lips at his throat, stilled the big man. Conflicted by
his impulse to shove the delicate creature away and the desire to pull him
tighter, he let Kyrcek continue to explore his throat and jaw for a time.

Drawing a deep breath, he finally broke away. "You don't have to do that,
Krycek."

Green eyes lifted and Krycek tilted his head, a pout on his lips. "You do
not want me?" His eyes darted to Skinner's groin, frowning at the tented
jeans. "You do want me." He moved to brush a kiss over Skinner's lips, but
the bigger man stopped him. Krycek's confusion swam in his gaze. "I don't
understand. Why do you deny yourself. I belong to you, Sir. I would be
honored to...I am ...not worthy?"
